The “International Carnival Cup,” organized by Marin Sports Events, is gearing up for its ninth edition in 2025. This tournament has grown in prominence since its inception in 2012, when it began as a modest event with a single major team, RCD Espanyol, emerging as the first winner. Initially, the competition primarily featured teams from the Maresme region. By the second edition, the tournament had already attracted other high-profile teams, including FC Barcelona and Valencia CF, marking its evolution into a more significant national event. Over the years, it has continued to expand, with top-tier teams like Real Madrid, Real Zaragoza, CD Castellón, and Damm CF joining the competition. The main goal of the tournament is to instill the values of football in young players and to ensure that both participants and spectators have an enjoyable and memorable experience. The upcoming ninth edition is scheduled to take place from February 28 to March 2, 2025, at the CE Premia de Dalt facilities.
